Group therapy at Inner Space
Therapy does not have to be a solitary experience. Group therapy offers something different: the chance to sit alongside others who are working through their own challenges, and to find that you are not as alone as you may have felt.
Led by one of our highly qualified therapists, our groups provide a confidential and professionally held space where people can speak honestly, listen carefully, and support one another. Many clients find that something shifts when they hear their own experience reflected back in someone else’s words.
Group therapy for the general public
We offer group therapy sessions both online and in-person in Tunbridge Wells. Our groups bring together small numbers of people who may be dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or a sense that life is not quite as they would like it to be.
There is no single issue that group therapy is “for”. What all our groups have in common is a commitment to honesty, respect, and genuine connection. You do not need to have your thoughts perfectly formed before you speak. The group is part of the process.
If you are interested in joining one of our group therapy sessions, please complete the interest form below. We will be in touch to talk things through and match you with a suitable group.
Specialised groups for therapists and trainee therapists
Working as a therapist or training to become one brings its own particular pressures. The emotional demands of the work, the weight of holding space for others, and the sometimes solitary nature of the role can leave practitioners feeling stretched or unsupported.
We offer online group therapy sessions specifically designed for therapists and trainee therapists. These small groups (maximum six participants) provide a confidential space to talk about the realities of the work, share experiences with peers, and develop greater resilience and perspective. Groups are available to join at any point during the year, subject to availability.
To express your interest, please use the form below and we will be in touch with further details.
