Job Description – Therapist / Counsellor
Due to continued expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and highly experienced therapist or counsellor to work from our private therapy rooms and/or online.
You will commit to a minimum of 8 hours, and there is scope for more hours.
We facilitate clinical practice by operating consulting rooms in desirable locations locally, generating a steady stream of new referrals, and providing administrative support. We also have regular monthly team meetings (online) for the purposes of sharing best practice and collegiate support. Inner Space, therefore, enables self-employed practitioners to do what they are best at – clinical work.
You are solely responsible for your practice and management of your caseload, and as a qualified and competent practitioner, you control and operate your practice in the best interests of your clients.
You must be an up-to-date member of a professional therapy organisation (e.g. BACP, GMC, NCS or UKCP), working within their guidelines and codes, and insured. We ask for you to be an accredited member of your organisation, hold a level 7 qualification (Masters or Equivalent) and/or have a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience.
This position may suit someone wishing to enter private practice as part of a network of high calibre, dedicated and clinically minded practitioners.
