Group Therapy: Connect, Share, and Grow Together
In a world where challenges can often feel overwhelming, group therapy provides a unique opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and find collective strength. Whether you’re navigating personal struggles, seeking professional support, or simply looking for a community that understands, group therapy offers a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
What is Group Therapy?
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where one or more therapists work with a small group of clients together. This setting allows individuals to explore interpersonal dynamics, receive feedback, and support one another. It is beneficial for anyone looking to improve their mental health, develop new coping strategies, and build a sense of community.
Benefits of Group Therapy
**Shared Experiences:** Discussing common challenges in a supportive environment can reduce feelings of isolation and provide comfort.
**Support Network:** Building connections with others who understand your experiences can offer ongoing support and camaraderie.
**Skill Development:** Learn new strategies and techniques from both the therapist and group members.
**Emotional Resilience:** Develop better coping mechanisms to handle life’s challenges.
Group Therapy for the General Public
We offer group therapy sessions both online and in-person in Tunbridge Wells for the general public. These groups aim to provide a supportive community where individuals can share their experiences, receive feedback, and work through personal challenges together.
By joining a group therapy session, you can benefit from the collective wisdom and support of others who are facing similar issues. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or other mental health concerns, group therapy can provide a valuable platform for growth and healing.

Specialised Groups for Therapists and Trainee Therapists
Navigating the landscape of mental health can be challenging, not only for those seeking help but also for those providing it. As therapists and trainee therapists, the weight of professional responsibilities can often lead to feelings of isolation, burnout, and emotional fatigue. Our specialised group therapy sessions offer a supportive environment where you can connect with peers, share experiences, and develop coping strategies together.
**Starting in September 2024**, we are offering two online therapy groups specifically designed for therapists and trainee therapists. These groups (max of 6 per group) will provide a confidential and supportive space to discuss professional challenges, share experiences, and learn from one another. If there are spaces available you are welcome to join at any point during the year.
